The Western Mountains

                                              Small Business and Recreational Tourism are the lifeblood of our District.

 Many of our Small Businesses have been handed down through generations and now, due to the economic environment, are struggling. I will work to promote Small Business by reviewing prohibitive regulations, and work to provide incentives to promote healthy economic growth.

 Our District is the premier Outdoor Recreational area in the state, providing year-round activities for every level of both motorized and non-motorized enthusiast and competitor. I will work with our recreational communities and the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development Office of Outdoor Recreation to promote, preserve, and grow this vital economic resource.
